World Honey Market is looking for an energetic and organized candidate for their Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator position. The ideal candidate will possess Proven negotiation skill. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software , as well as inventory software.


 

  • Purchases supplies, materials, and parts for the company.

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; directs purchasing programs accordingly.

  • Develops and maintains inventory databases for supplies and materials used.

  • Negotiates and completes contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery times.

  • Reviews purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental policies.

  • Collaborates with sales, customer service, and logistics departments to maximize efficiency in the purchasing and inventory control department.

  • Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale.

  • Answers phones on behalf of World Honey Market.

  • Purchases large and complex items.

  • Develops and implements procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.

  • Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.

  • Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.

  • Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.

  • Ensures that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse.

  • Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.

  • Schedules materials being transferred to and from the warehouse; coordinates the transfer of inventory between departments.

  • Collaborates with other departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.

  • Monitors expenditures and implements corrective actions if needed.

  • Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.

  • Resolves routine equipment issues.

  • Performs and assists with general maintenance and cleanup of the warehouse.

  • Completes all required management reports.

  • Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.

  • Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.

  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

  • Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments.

  • Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets.

  • Maintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required.

  • Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.

  • Prepares bills and tickets for shipments.

  • Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage.

  • Takes parcels to post office or other shipping location when pick-up is unavailable

  • Print, pack, and ship online orders.

  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
