Rumored to have traveled to Florida shores in the 1700s, the datil pepper is not your ordinary hot pepper, and our Datil Sting is not your typical hot honey. Datil Sting Hot Honey is a mix of three simple ingredients, honey, datil peppers, and vinegar.

Unmatched for their unique fruity flavor and blistering heat profile, these amazing peppers are primarily grown locally in St. Augustine, FL, the nation's oldest city, for a taste as charismatic as the city itself.

Datil Sting Hot and Extra Hot Honey are unmatched with their famous, unique fruity flavor and warm, yet smooth heat profile. The datil is a variety of the Capsicum Chinese species, also known as the "yellow lantern chili." Datil peppers are similar in their heat index to a habanero hitting around 100,000-300,000 on the Scoville scale. But, unlike habaneros, datil peppers are sweet, with a fruitful tangy taste to them.

100% NATURAL RAW ORANGE BLOSSOM HONEY - Datil Sting Hot Honey is harvested from hives in the sun-drenched orange groves of central Florida, then infused with delightful raw Datil peppers grown from the sandy shores of the nation's oldest city. Just three ingredients: Honey, Datil Pepper, and Vinegar. Clean and simple. No chemicals or sugar added. Paleo-friendly, gluten-free, and delicious.

UNIQUE AND MYSTERIOUS FLAVOR starts with a smooth sweetness then kicks into unique hotness that is extra hot, yet doesn't burn your mouth or lips like typical chili peppers. Datil Sting Hot Honey makes a fantastic marinade, glaze, or dipping sauce. Savory and spicy, it goes great with charcuterie, smoked meats, fried chicken, pizza, great on vanilla ice cream, or stirred into a glass of bourbon.

Also Available in EXTRA HOT!

"It is only a small exaggeration to say I put this stuff on EVERYTHING!" From sandwiches to biscuits, Datil Sting's warm and sweet heat is unlike any other hot honey on the market. I'm getting a half-gallon next time!"
