Top 5 Recipe Contest Entries | Part 5

Week five of our Top 5 "How Do You Honey" Recipe contest submissions is the answer to kitchen prayers for everyone out there who loves wings and their air fryer!

Lea Higginbotham knows a thing or two about wings, and to create a crispy, hot, and sweet chicken wing, she knows you have to start with fresh chicken wings and Datil Sting (hot honey).

Check out Lea's recipe below for some of the easiest and most flavor wings we've ever tried!

Air Fryer Buffalo Wings

INGREDIENTS

  • Raw fresh chicken wings

  • garlic powder

  • paprika

  • butter

  • Datil Sting Hot honey

  • Hot sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350° F. Lightly spray both sides of the wings with cooking spray and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to taste. Mix melted butter and hot sauce to make Buffalo sauce in another bowl, and add Datil Sting hot honey.

  • Cook the wings. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer (leaving room between wings) and cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • When the wings are finished cooking, place them in a large mixing bowl and toss them with the Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce.

  • Finish cooking the wings. Place the wings back in the air fryer basket and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has caramelized.

  • Transfer wings to a plate and serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
