Week four of our Top 5 "How Do You Honey" Recipe contest submissions is fall-off-the-bone good!
Summer is almost here, and with it comes the craving for fantastic barbeque. Ryan Bellovich submitted his recipe for Honey BBQ Ribs that are as sweet as they are tender!
It's tough to beat good, fall off the bone ribs and the addition of World Honey Market's Orange Blossom Honey takes this recipe to a whole new level of flavor perfection!
Honey BBQ Ribs
Ingredients
2 to 2 1/2 pounds baby back pork ribs
BBQ Sauce
Butter
Seasoning salt or your choice of seasoning
WHM Orange Blossom Honey
Brown sugar
Salt and ground pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat oven to 275°
Season both sides of the ribs with a generous amount of salt and pepper. Coat the ribs with butter and add seasoning to both sides of the ribs. Add BBQ sauce. Place the ribs, meat-side up, into a large roasting pan or rimmed baking sheet. (It may be necessary to cut the ribs in half to fit into the pan).
Cover the pan or baking sheet tightly with aluminum foil, and then bake until the meat falls easily from the bones, 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours.
Check the ribs after 2 hours to see how they are progressing, and add honey.
The ribs are done when the meat is cooked through and tender.
